I'M BA-ACK!

It feels so wonderful to be back in Fayetteville. As we were exiting on the interstate, I was screaming and laughing and rambling about how happy I was - poor Richard (the guy who rode with me) probably didn't know what to do!

The road trip home from Alaska was full of its ups and downs. Two of the cars in our caravan had mechanical problems at one point or another, we drove long hours, Canada is boring in general, and we were all ready to be home. However, some of the more fun things were riding in the all-girls car singing Disney songs together, being with Project people in general for just a little longer, and sleeping in a tent in the rain. One night, I actually slept on the side of the Alaskan highway next to our cars. That probably wasn't the safest decision to make, but at the time I was just so tired and couldn't imagine sleeping in the car. The best was telling my mom just to see her reaction :)

Now that I am back, I have filled my time with Crusade staff meetings, moving into a new house, and doing some of my favorite things that I wasn't able to enjoy over the summer. Here is a fun list of what I have done so far:

1. EATEN OUT AT GOOD RESTAURANTS!
2. BOUGHT PRODUCE AT REASONABLE PRICES
3. SEEN FRIENDS
4.HUNG OUT AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY (which I am currently doing to get internet since it isn't working at my house)
5. GONE TO SONIC HAPPY HOUR
6. DRIVEN THROUGH THE CAR WASH
7. WALKED AROUND THE FARMER'S MARKET

If you would be praying for the next three weeks, that would be wonderful. We are in the midst of getting ready for freshman move in next weekend, and the first two weeks of school are so key in meeting people and building relationships. I am excited to see what all God has planned!
